Once you are finished with the exterior of the property, you need to start on the inside. One of the biggest steps is removing clutter. You can even start packing up your knick-knacks and other items and store them away temporarily until you move to your new place. This will greatly decrease the amount of items in the home and be easier to move once it's time. If you don't want the items, you can donate them or try to sell them. A moving sale is a great way to get rid of items and make some money towards the move.

Deep Clean

Deep clean the entire property. If this is overwhelming, consider hiring a professional cleaning service. Once they are finished, they can return each week and perform cleaning services until you move. It will be the easiest way to make sure your home is always picture perfect and ready for potential buyers to view the home. If you can't afford a cleaning service, make out a schedule to deep clean one room each week and minimal maintenance on the rest of the rooms on the other days.
